Halliburton

Halliburton, one of the world’s largest suppliers of products and services to the energy industry, has chosen CMA Contiki to build their new global Customer Contract Management System. The system, which will be used at 120 locations world-wide, will enable Halliburton access to a centralized tool to file customer contracts.

The Contiki ECM-application allows Halliburton to create,  execute, manage and analyze client contracts to maximize financial performance, control risk, limit exposure, and ensure compliance of the processes. The CMA Contiki application includes search capabilities that will make it easy to navigate among the customer contracts and provides Halliburton with functionality to create and use corporate templates. The solution also includes reporting capabilities. It also includes contract intelligence capabilities: The system generates predefined alerts that are linked to specific contracts.

The Contiki solution will also cover integration with other systems, like the ERP system used by Halliburton and provides a security system which restricts access to the Contiki tool.  In addition, the solution is equipped with an email tool linked to the contract management processes.

According to Tom-Inge Aas, CEO of CMA Contiki the implementation and roll-out of the Contiki ECM 6 solution for Halliburton represents CMA Contiki’s most challenging and exciting projects in 2007. “Most of our clients seek solutions to manage contracts on the BUY side, but increasingly, we are seeing clients seeking solutions for the SELL side first. This emerging trend represents a significant growth opportunity for CMA Contiki, and we anticipate that we will attract more clients seeking to gain access to quality contract management solutions on the SELL side in 2007.”
